One of my personal favorite apps for receipt earning, Receipt Hog gives you points back just by uploading a picture of any shopping receipt you have and answering between one to three simple easy questions. The points you earn can be used to cash out on Paypal gift cards, Amazon gift cards, and even magazine subscriptions. Each receipt you upload also gives you an entry in their monthly sweepstakes where you can win a lot of cool prizes.

Ibotta

Getting cash back on purchases at the store is a great way to earn a little extra money. With Ibotta, you can do that just by uploading receipts to the app. You first select the offers you want to complete. When you buy the products, just scan the receipt on Ibotta and select the offers you would like to claim. They credit your account very quickly and you can cash out at $20.

You can earn a nice tidy sum of money with these apps. Instead of letting those receipts go to waste, let them earn money for you.
